Last night Fashionistaz Life attended the website launch party for Celebrity Makeup Artist Jackie Gomez.. The soiree was held at the Viacom building in New York City's Times Square. Jackie is the woman behind the beautiful faces of Beyonce and Solange Knowles; and Victoria Secret model Marisa Miller who wore the diamond studded bra at the recent fashion show.

I caught up with Jackie and asked her about how she got her start, what were some of the challenges along the way and which celebrity was her favorite to work with. Jackie got her start interning, networking and just paying her dues trying to get her work out there. Her biggest challenge was trying to get people to notice her work and taking her seriously.
While Jackie says she loves all of the artists she's worked with, the artist who stands out the most is her "baby" Solange Knowles. Solange was a free spirit and just allowed Jackie to work her magic.
