Apparently not everyone is pleased by Lady Gaga's body of work. Designer Antonio Berardi, who's best known for dressing Victoria Beckham in the infamous heel-less boots, told Australia's Herald Sun he was offered the chance to work with her, and turned it down.
Berardi goes on to say:
"I was approached to design a clothing range with Lady Gaga but I knocked it back because I wasn't interested in someone whose music is meaningless,"
"Her music is meaningless now so what impact will it have in 20 years?"
Damn, those are some harsh words. So, he'd rather work with an artist whose group is disbanded and music is irrevelant than with a hot act who WILL be remembered in pop culture for having a style that is uniquely hers AND talent?
Please help, cause I'm confused...

This is his point of view and his opinion and everybody should have the the right to say what he likes or dislikes. Free speech is not only for those who go with the mainstream and follow everything that is adored by millions of people. I don't like Lady Gagas music nor do I like her lyrics. To me it's pointless and has no value, but that doesn't mean she will be forgotten in 20 years. She will just not appear in the top album of all times lists. It is dance music designed to attract as many people as possible, not a piece of art or something unique.
