R&B singer Miguel is cementing his place in the industry. He's written on Usher's latest sixth studio album Raymond v. Raymond. The half-black, half Mexican 22-year old has teamed up with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis and the Avila Brothers penning on Usher's album. Miguel's sound is a of R&B, hip-hop and rock. He's made waves via his MySpace page with over 7 million plays on his single "Sure Thing."
Miguel is working on his upcoming album State of the Art and will be collaborating with fellow new jack Asher Roth. Miguel's latest single "All I Want Is You' has been getting alot of buzz which features rapper J. Cole whose worked on Jay-Z's Blueprint 3 album. This song is smooth and sounds like throwback R&B. I'm really feeling his sound.
