The original "We Are The World" single was recored in 1985 and was for charity for USA for Africa famine relief. It was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and co-produced by Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian. Fast foward 20 years later and you have artists such as Lil Wayne, Tyrese, Celine Dion and Kanye West teaming up to remake the charitable single for Haitian Relief efforts.
