The Winners Are...
Rihanna wins for the most creative red carpet look at the American Music Awards. This Marchesa dress was a hit or miss to most, but I couldn't see any other entertainer pulling this off but her. Usually I don't like white shoes, but in this case it brought out the look. I say yay! What do you say?
Jennifer Lopez wins for wearing all white and looking effortlessly chic backstage at the AMA's. She never disappoints. She looks H-O-T in this head-to-toe all white Gucci.
Lights, Camera, Action!...That pretty much sumed up what the performances were all about at the American Music Awards. Rihanna rocked a white bandage style body suit that lit up with lasers on cue. The announcers kept saying this was her comeback performance....Not sure where she went. It was a good effort for a "comeback."
Lady GaGa always seems to outdo herself. Here's here routine which included a piano on fire. The performance was hot...literally too.
Janet Jackson opened the show with a medley of her hits. She's still busting those moves at 40 something. I love it!
Whitney Houston tore it down with her performance of "I Didn't Know My Own Strength." She also received the International Artist of the Year award which has only been given to 6 artists in the past which included Michael Jackson she makes the 7th. Glad to see her back

There were alot of perfomances last night at the 2009 American Music Awards. While being entertained, you couldn't help but notice what the celebs were wearing. Two men that stuck out the most were Jay-Z and Adam Lambert. First off, Jay-Z. looked damned good in his "Rat Pack" inspired suit while performing "Empire State of Mind" with Alicia Keys. This is exactly what I mean by there's nothing like a man in a suit to make that can make a gal go crazy. LOL...He also took home the Favorite Male Artist award and Favorite Album award for The Blueprint 3. The performance was great as well. There were no uninvited guests to bumrush the stage.

I've become a fan of American Idol alum Adam Lambert. He had all kinds of kinky going in this performance. As you can see from the crotch grabbing pic there was alot more where that came from. It was definitely entertaining. His look was hot too. The hair, make-up, and spiky detailed jacket. It just fit.
