Bruno Mars is on his way to the top. Having co-wrote Travie McCoy's "Billionaire" and B.o.B's "Nothing On You" which are two major hits this year. The latter spent two weeks on top of Billboard's Hot 100. He and his four piece band made their New York City debut last night.

Bruno Mars stopped by VH1 studios to do acoustic versions of his EP "Somewhere in Brooklyn,” “Nothin’ on You (Remix)” with his producing partner Phil of The Smeezingtons, and “Dr. Feel Good” with Travie McCoy. I really like his style. He has beautiful a nice voice.

Janelle Monáe has impeccable style. Always menswear inspired but still has the elements of femininity. In her latest video "Tightrope" featuring Lupe Fiasco and B.O.B. they all team up for the (Wondamix) remix. This song is from her debut album, The ArchAndroid: Suites II and III, which is in stores now. This video has a combination of style, class, and mama is working those dance moves. I'm all over this.

This year's BET Awards, Prince will recieve top honor. He will follow in the likes of James Brown, Whitney Houston and Diana Ross and will recieve a Lifetime Acheivement Award. The show will air on June 27th and will be in its 10th year. The award is well deserved as Prince has had a long standing career with numerous hits. "Dove's Cry" is still my favorite song.
The BET Awards will be hosted by Queen Latifah and scheduled performances will include Kanye West.

Rapper B.o.B is experiencing success with the single "Nothing On You" featuring Bruno Mars. The song is highly addictive. In this video, he talks about the success of the single, his fave songs on his album and touring with Lupe Fiasco. That seemed an obvious artist to tour with him. He and Lupe's style musically and fashionably speaking are pretty similar. Check out the video after the jump.

The song talks about a guy letting a girl know she's the sh*t and there's no other. The is B.o.B.'s first single from his anticipated debut album B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray which hits stores April 27. The video will be released the first week of March.
