Wait, There's More

The pregnancy and engagement has been confirmed.  Now Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are showing their public display of affection by holding hands and looking into each other eyes.   They enjoyed each other's company after her show in Paris yesterday. 

On a style note, I really like the casual looks they're rocking.  From Swizz' blazer, tie and sneaker combination to A-Keys cropped leather.  You can find a jacket similar to her's here.

 Yes, it is true.  If you haven't heard, Alicia Keys is pregnant.  According to Essence.com, she and rapper/producer Swizz Beatz are expecting and engaged.  I guess the proof was in the photos that were circulating last week.  Alicia is working this poofy floral dress and sparkly pointy shoes at the Keep A Child Alive benefit in London.  I like this look on her alot.  Congrats to them!

 Alicia Keys; Pharrell; and Jessica Alba are just a few of the hotties that are on Interview Magazine's 20 Most Beautiful People Of The DECADE list.  Each of these artists have one thing in common- they've graced the covers of the magazine at one time or another.  They were each interviewed in this special issue and asked to speak candidly about something we may not have already known about them.

Alicia Keys' pet peeve

"The not-so-unstated rule that women are only to be treated as sexual objects and gawked at-you know, sitting up against a car, washing something, bending over, licking something. That just drives me crazy".

On how Pharrell finds solace

"I've found at times that I turn things that bother me into songs, which is super-therapeutic".

Sidenote: At a certain point in 2003, about 43% of the songs played on American radio were produced by Pharrell's production team The Neptunes.

On how Jessica Alba prepared for her dance routine in the movie Sin City

"I was terrified. I'm not an extrovert. So, I just went to a bunch of strip clubs to do research. I would have to get a little tipsy, though, because it's kind of intimidating talking to these women with incredible bodies who are writihing in front of you. But I learned some stuff from them. I hit about four strip clubs in L.A., two in new York, and two in texas".

In case you missed it, Alicia Keys performed on The Today Show plaza yesterday.  She sang "Empire State Of Mind (Part II) Broken Down", "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart" and "No One."  She never disappoints.  Her fourth album The Element of Freedom will be released on December 15.

 Spotted

Alicia Keys can now add jewelry designer on her resume.  According to People.com, She teamed up with The Barber’s Daughters designer Gisele Theriault for a collection of necklaces that will launch in fall 2010.  Alicia met the designer Gisele Theriault while on tour and one of her bandmates purchased her pieces.  The necklaces will be made of precious metals and gems and inscribed with inspirational messages.  It'll range in price  from $85-$2500.
