Solange is one of three starlets which includes actress Zooey Deschanel and model Alejandra Ramos Munoz as the new faces of Rimmel London cosmetics.  Kate Moss has been the face of the brand and will continue endorsing as well.  According to People Style Watch, Renato Semerari, president of Coty Beauty, which owns the Rimmel brand told WWD that they were chosen as the new faces of the brand because:

“These three strong, successful and uniquely beautiful women will help ensure that Rimmel London’s image continues to be modern and globally relevant,”

Solange cutting her hair was the best move she's made.  It changed her look completely.  She looks even more beautiful and it's bringing opportunities to show more face.  Loves it!

Recently, the beautiful Lala Vasquez appeared on The Wendy Williams Show.   I had received several emails from readers wondering what makeup Lala was wearing during her appearance.  I was able to get the low-down from Celebrity Makeup Artist Jackie Gomez on what products she used to acheive Lala's flawless look:

To create Lala's glowing complexion, Jackie used Face Atelier Pro Foundation followed by the NARS Blush Bronzer Duo in Laguna/Orgasm.

On Lala's eyes Jackie used Smashbox Liquid Pen Liner followed by Jouer Eyeshadows in Espresso, Pink Champagne and Toffee.  Lastly, Jackie added  MAC Lashes #35 for that little spark of glamour that every girl needs! ;)

The latest craze in nail polish is the color Jade.  Karl Lagerfeld sent his models down the runway during his Fall 09 show (pictured above) wearing the coveted color.  Its gotten  so crazy that someone resorted to selling the Chanel brand on eBay for $150!  Well, I've got good news for you Fashionistaz!  I did a little searching and stubbled upon the brand Illamasqua.  They have the funky green color called Milf.  Don't you just love the name...LOL. You don't have to reach too far down in your wallet or bid to get it either.  It's resonably price so you still have enough money left over for a fly shoe or purse. :)

There had been talks of Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga teaming up for a M.A.C. cosmetics ad.  It's finally here.  They are teaming up for the M.A.C’s Viva Glam campaign for Spring 2010.  I'm pretty surprised Lady Gaga's makeup is very simple and girly.  I definitely expected more shock value. I mean it's Lady Gaga for goodness sake. 

There was a time when the fall/winter season approached, your makeup had to veer towards darker colors.  The norm is no longer the tone in beauty.  In terms of nail polish, It's all about fun and bright colors.  Most notably,  the beiges (which are a staple in any season), pinks, purples and variations of green.

Apparently someone is trying to cash in on the latest Chanel nail polish craze via ebay.  These Jade and Jade Rose colors are two of Chanel's hottest colors but are a rare find.  There are alot of Fashionistaz out there who will stop at nothing to be a force of fashion to be reckoned, but at what cost?  Would you pay the $149.99 for nail polish to be in fashion?

NARS Cosmetics celebrates 15 years.  The beauty brand will release a limited edition book- NARS 15X15 which will feature fifteen celebrities wearing the luxurious make-up.  The book will hit stores November 12.  The downside?  Only 1500 copies will be available at $80.
