{A neon yellow saddle bag I scored on a cool discount}
These are just a few random purchases I made last week. I honestly didn't need any of them (well except this is a must for every beauty-nista), but I'm glad I made the purchases. I'd love to hear some of your random purchases.

I haven't had a professional manicure in 4 months. Once I learned how to do it myself, I bought tons of products and tried new designs. This latest design came about because I was feeling fun and flirty. Ladies, I'm sure you've had those days. You can achieve a similar design with the products below.

When I finally learned how to do my own manicure, I began to get a little more creative with colors and designs. I've been pretty obsessed with glitter nail strips. I was on the hunt for a nail polish that reflected just as well. I found this glitter nail polish that goes on like gem stones. I swiped the glitter polish on an angle. Then dapped the brush to give the gemstones a full effect alongside the blue metallic polish. I wore this look while hitting up my cousin's birthday dinner/party festivities this past weekend.

Over the years, I've had numerous hairstyles. Everything from a curly afro, blonde cropped cut and a lace front wig. When I became tired of all of those options, I went for a relaxed, pixie cut with blonde highlights (my current look). I realized short cuts suit me best, however, I like to admire other types of hairstyles on women. When I'm feeling a bit feisty, I might go back to wearing long hair. Here are a few hairstyles that I find adorable and could be of inspiration to you.

Nothing lifts up a mood better than a little sparkle on your nails. With New Year's Eve around the corner, that's the best time to go all out with sequins, glitter and glitz. You can save money by opting to do your manicure yourself. I'm rocking this manicure for NYE. Here are a few nail polishes Fashionistaz need in their beauty bar.
FYI: When removing glitter polish, soak cotton balls in nail polish remover and place on each nail. Wrap each nail in aluminum foil and let is sit for about 5 minutes. Then press down and pull the foil and cotton off your nails. Your nails will be free from glitter.

The holiday shopping season has finally approached us. Even though, I've been seeing Christmas advertisements since November 1st. With all the Black Friday craziness, I didn't bother camping out or heading out at the crack of dawn to get in on the deals. However, I did head out Sunday as well as searched online for a few shimmery beauty goodies for under $10. These are great stocking stuffers or you could pick up a few for yourself.

I had compiled a list of a few things I needed to add to my closet. With all the craziness frm Versace x H&M, I figured I wouldn't get anything. I woke a 5am last Saturday and did what any Fashionista would do- head to the city and try to pick up a few pieces. I went to a smaller store so it wasn't as hectic and it was very organized. Plus a new mani and fuschia lipstick didn't hurt either.

I'm ahead of the game. I usually reserve wearing anything sparkly for the holiday season (like when I wore this outfit). Recently, I'm all about the shimmer. I'm rocking this nail design again. I was just as excited to hear that Juicy Couture is teaming up with Deobrah Lippman to create a nail polish collection. Think metallics and shimmer any day any time. Heck yeah! So who's in?
You can find out more about the collection here.

I haven't celebrated Halloween since grade school. This year I've felt a bit inspired to partake into the festivities. While I'm still on the fence about dressing up. If I do, this wacky celeb would be a good choice lolll. In the meantime, I've transformed my manicure to be a bit dark, sexy and fun!

FYI: this top coat was great at sealing the manicure being that it's so detailed

Are you dressing up for Halloween?

There's no denying fall is here. I've already switched up my wardrobe a little bit and now it's time to switch up the manicure. I love rocking black nail polish, but I wanted to create a look that would sparkle a bit amongst the black on black.

These are all the essentials need to create the look: Avon Nail Laquer in Golden Twilight, Sally Hansen Nail Lacquer in Gilty Pleasure, Skinny paint brush polishes (to create the designs) and Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat

I started off doing two coats of black and gold polish on the ring fingers.

Once the black and gold are fully dry, I added a few slashes across the golden nail with the black skinny paint brush polish. A few strokes to resemble a zebra print.

To add a bit of glitz, I added a slash of golden glitter with skinny paint brush polish on my index fingers.

End result
Any thoughts?
