Recently, I went into my closet to see what I needed for summer. I was amazed that I had so many black and grey pieces (I think it's a NY thing). I took the plunge and vowed to only purchase pieces that consisted of bright, bold colors.
Embellished coral semi-sheer top. I'd rock this with cut-off shorts and flat sandals.

As Christmas gets closer ( 5 days away), I've become increasingly in the holiday spirit. I was in the city yesterday for my first spa appointment (which was amazing) as well as taking in the sights. I came across a few pretty and interestingly funny displays. I also picked up a few holiday inspired things that made me smile and anxiously awaiting the 25th.

I've been through several phases with color obsessions. I always go back to rocking black. I've hardly worn any seasonal appropriate colors of red and green, but when wearing black, I've added gold to give it a luxe feel.

I find myself buying accessories several times put of the month. I never discriminate where I make the purchases. I've found great pieces from dollar stores, street vendors and UK brands. As much as I love to rock big gold hoops or ornate earrings, sometimes a little dainty Juicy Couture piece goes a long way.
P.S. To go with the dainty theme, this perfume is light and airy. It has become one of my faves!

Red is one color that can flatter any woman (besides black but that can be overrated at times). There are so many hues that we're bound to find one that compliments our skintone. Plus when red is added to the mix in this case the red booties, it just makes it look that much sexier. Here are a few items in red that are catching my eye.

This has to be the most exciting spring fashion season. There are so many styles to look forward too. The resurgance of the 70s are high on the list of pieces to add to the warbrobe as well as the ultra-feminine florals (scene here and here). I never skip on the details in an item. What I'm currently lusting are the scallop hem shorts, water fall leather clutch and knotted platform pumps.

Every so often I'll go through a phase of items and pretty much rock them all the time. Especially when I get a good deal on them. I wanted these biker boots the moment I saw them. The chain detailing is what drew me in. When I hit up the Barney's Warehouse Sale last weekend I scored the Alexander Wang pants with leather detailing. The heart ring (this pic really doesn't do it justice) is amazing. It garners attention. A real conversation starter. I hope you score some great deals over the weekend. If I could describe my style in three words it would be hip-hop, rocker, princess. There isn't anything in particular that I need in my closet right now. But these pieces would look gorge mixed with items I already own. I've been looking ahead to spring (these handbags here are at the top of the list) but I'm gonna make one last go round to update my winter wardrobe.
