A blinged out Richie Rich

I attended my first holiday party of the season.  It was nothing short of excitement.  The theme of the night was alot of glitz, glam and shine.  There were lace, red satin and sequins outfits.  I was able to rock my sequin skirt (first mentioned here).  The King Collective held the event in the city which brought out Celebrity Stylist Mia Morgan and designer and such a doll Richie Rich.

Saturday was a crazy day.  In a good way of course.  Rebecca Minkoff made an appearance at Bloomingdales 59th Street in New York.  She was really sweet interacting with customers and reccommending bags that would suit a fashionistaz style.  Celebrity stylist Mia Morgan and the editors over at www.FashionIndie.com were also on hand to give tips on bags and style.  

For an early birthday gift to myself, I picked up the Alligator Bond bag.  It can be used as a clutch and a wallet.  Thanks to Amanda with helping me with choosing this bag ;-)

 Artist Logan Real monogrammed the bags.  It gave the bags such a one of a kind feel.

This weekend get a styling session with designer Rebecca Minkoff.  Fashion Indie is teaming up with her to offer shoppers an exclusive experience at Bloomingdales.  Shoppers can get a personal 15-minute style session with Rebecca and celebrity stylist Mia Morgan and the editors of www.FashionIndie.com.

Fashion's Night Out is soon approaching.  So many hot and fun events, I don't even know where I should hit up first.  In any case, while you're going to all the fab stores, you can put all your purchases in this cute tote.  There's already tanks and tee shirts.  I was wondering if there would be a bag to go along with the line.  Brahmin is the designer for the tote.  Even better, it's affordable only $45.

Let's recap this week in what your favorite stars were doing and what they were wearing.  Jay-Z and Beyonce got cozy after the 2009 MTV EMA Awards in Europe.  She also thanked her hubby for her Best Video win by saying "There's only one person I want to thank and that is Jay for putting a ring on it."  Are we spilling the beans a little on the most secretive relationship in hollywood right now.

Celebs came out for the Jimmy Choo for H&M event .  Rapper M.I.A. rocked a rather interesting look.  Which isn't much of a surprise.  The line hits stores November 14.  Let's see who else showed up for the event.

Last night was the debut of Fashion's Night Out.  Fashion’s Night Out is an initiative, hosted by VOGUE, to encourage consumer spending in retail markets around the world. From model appearances, designer cameos, beauty makeovers  and let's not forget the celebrity appearances are all part of the event that’s kicking off New York Fashion Week.

On the heels of Fashion's Night Out, Rachel Roy will have an event all her own.  The designer will be launching a pop-up shop at  111 Spring Street in SoHo on September 10.  The event will be hosted by her jewelry line collaborator Estelle.  Estelle will not be performing, but Keyshia Cole will be making an appearance as will plenty of other A-listers.  Save the date!
