On Friday, I had the opportunity to meet one of my favorite Bloggers. Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere recently had a book published that combines all of her loves: fashion, food, entertaining, DIY and decor. At the book signing, her personality definitely shined through- she was really sweet and looked gorgeous.
After the signing, I was treated to a complimentary makeover and fell in love with this Estee Lauder Pink Innocence lipgloss that I purchased it. A day of beauty and is always a good thing.

On Thursday night, I put on my best dress and took to Times Square for Fashion's Night Out at the Nygard Concept store. Upon entering the blue carpet and sea of blue lights, there were hot tunes blaring, wine on hand and delicious hor'deouvs. Even though I've hit up the store a few times, I'm always amazed at the new pieces that are displayed. I just love the versatility of the pieces and budget-friendly prices. There were tons of animal print, colorblocking and bright colored jewels to get your hands on. It was a struggle, but I didn't purchase anything that night. There was also a Fall/Winter fashion show which featured lots of black,but plenty of sparkle. Check out what went down.

Dating in New York can be exciting, adventurous, spontaneous, sexy and exhausting to say the least. Every Friday at 3pm Easter I join in on a Twitter chat aptly titled #DateChat. Sassy and stylish NY Lifestyle and Fashion Blogger Amy Chowdry of Midtown Girl and Socialista New York hosts the chat. Last night in Soho, she brought the chat live with her 1st ever DateChat meetup. There was lots of relationship talk, champagne (and a sip game for the "guilty") and swag courtesy of Kensie. Overall, it was just a dope time meeting new people and catching up with peeps I haven't seen in a minute.

The Nygard Concept store in Times Square cordially invites you to our celebration on Fashion's Night Out on September 6, 2012.
There will be contests, refreshments, and a fashion show featuring the hottest looks from designer collections Peter Nygard and Bianca Nygard.

On Wednesday, April 20th GUESS, the American lifestyle brand famous for its trend setting denim and unforgettable campaigns, was proud to partner with Vanity Fair to celebrate the grand opening of the new GUESS 5th Avenue Flagship Store with an exclusive music performance by Jessie J. Also in attendance were Lala Vazquez, Adrienne Bailon and DJ Mia Moretti was on the 1's and 2's. The brand new 13,000 square foot retail space on 5th Avenue at 47th Street, the largest GUESS flagship location in the world.

Last night was the debut of Fashion's Night Out. Fashion’s Night Out is an initiative, hosted by VOGUE, to encourage consumer spending in retail markets around the world. From model appearances, designer cameos, beauty makeovers and let's not forget the celebrity appearances are all part of the event that’s kicking off New York Fashion Week.
