When I saw this editorial featuring Raquel Zimmerman, I was easily inspired to find a few 70s pieces. Many designers are reviving the bell-bottomed, wild print era. The wide brimmed hats, long tiered dresses, and large framed glasses are a few staples. I previously posted an editorial with 70s looks here. My old school style is more 80s hip-hop, but I'm loving the retro and feminine feel of the pale pink tiered dress.

Amber Rose was spotted in Cazal 951 style sunnies. These were worn back in the day by many hip-hop artists. I've never owned a pair but thinking about puttin my money to some old school flava. Just so you know how much I'm obsessed with old school hip-hop culture, take a peek here and here.

I've always admired the fashion of the 70s. The outfits were ceative, some colorful but most importantly well put togethere. Koton is taking it back with their F/W 2010 ad campaign. Love the entire look of this collection.

I'll admit I didn't like clogs. You couldn't pay me to wear them. During the 90s, they were very popular. This fall be prepared to see them at a shoe boutique near you. Designers have updated the look by adding buckles, tassles, chucky heels and various styles and colors. I think they might've won me over this season.

Last week the blogosphere was buzzing over the look Kelis sported to an awards event. A pink latex body suit, Alexander McQueen "lobster" shoe and Avatar inspired hair...smh. I too was even a bit disappointed cause I've always LOVED her style. You know what, we can't always be "ON". I'm sure there was a time or two when you had some foolishness you called an outfit, but it looked like hot sh*t.

What goes around comes around. You've heard this timeless phrase many times. It can't be more true than in fashion. Various styles and trends come back revamped. It's not a surprise that the late 80s early 90s ripped jean trend is back. Salt-N-Pepa were synonymous back in the day for rocking them. Today's fashionistaz are adding their own touch to this old school look.

For those who may want a subtle look for less, try these Silence and Noise Ripped Twig Jeans for $68. You can get them here
