This is the first time ever in the Fashionista of the Day category that it was hard for me to choose one starlet. These ladies were my top three. What did you think of their looks? Who should win best dressed?
On Saturday night, Janette and I attended an all white themed party. I had styled Janette for the event. She wanted a girly, but edgy look. So the v-neck dress with ruffles complimented her perfectly. The gladiator booties in a cream color was just enough to balance the look. The start of the night was a bit disasterous at the event. Not to mention, it was outdoors and the 95 degree temp at midnight didn't help. So we headed downtown to another party and that brought a bit of relief. Nonetheless, it turned out to be a great night.
Tracee Ellis Ross is the ultimmate fashionista. Best known for character Joan Clayton on the now defunct sitcom, Girlfriends. The show was a big fave of mine and I'm still upset that it is no longer on the air. Tracee's style on set seemed to transend into real life. When it comes to fashion, she knows no boundaries.

NYE 2011 was nothing short of fun and hilarity at its finest. Some friends and I hit up Taj Lounge. Jay was looking for the perfect party look. Definitely a look with sex appeal and still classy. Here 's what I chose. A Herve Leger inspired dress and gold chandelier earrings. I think she lookings amazing. I'd love your feedback. What do you think of Jay's look?
Last night was the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. It was the first time in forever that I watched pratically the entire show. Jimmy Fallon was a good choice as a host. He was hilarious. The gowns that the starlets wore were amazing. Kim Kardashian was a hard act to follow as she looked stunning in this white goddess style Marchesa gown. I was most suprised to see Wanda Sykes even put on a dress.

R&B singer Tamia has been off the scene for awhile. It was a nice surprise to see she gave a performance at the New York City Central Park Summerstage over the weekend. She looked stunning in this strapless white dress complimented with beige t-strap sandals.
