Beyonce is a woman on the constant move and supporting fashion for a cause. She's teaming up with the Council of Fashion Designers of America with the support of fashion leaders like Diane von Furstenberg, Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren and Franciso Costa. She taped a PSA announcement wearing the charitable T-shirt created specifically to help Haiti. In her PSA Beyonce says: "Together we can send a message of hope by raising much needed funds for the people of Haiti." The T-shirt is on sale now and sells for $25. All proceeds will benefit Clinton Bush Haiti Fund
The original "We Are The World" single was recored in 1985 and was for charity for USA for Africa famine relief. It was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and co-produced by Quincy Jones and Michael Omartian. Fast foward 20 years later and you have artists such as Lil Wayne, Tyrese, Celine Dion and Kanye West teaming up to remake the charitable single for Haitian Relief efforts. On Friday, January 22, celebrities will unite all around the coutry to help raise money for earthquake relief in Haiti. The Hope For Haiti Now telethon will be a two hour event that will air on several major television networks. It will air 8 p.m. ET. hosted by George Clooney in Los Angeles, Wyclef Jean in New York and CNN’s Anderson Cooper in Haiti.
Sting will be joined in New York by Bruce Springsteen, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Shakira.
Timberlake and Aguilera will take the stage in Los Angeles, along with Alicia Keys, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift and a group performance by Keith Urban, Kid Rock and Sheryl Crow.
In London, the lineup includes Rihanna, Bono, Coldplay, Jay-Z and The Edge.
