I'm all for fashion in some ways is considered an artform and a form of expression. When does it cross the line to become something that should've remained an idea on paper? Designers have been pushing the limit as of late when it comes to women's footwear. Most fashion seen on runways are an exaggerated interpretation of real life-so I thought.
While browsing boots for fall, I came across this knock-off version of the Louboutin ballet heels. How is this shoe even practical to walk in? I know I would bust my a$$ walking in these.

Whether you're a natural or bottle blonde, a recent study says you have longer primping sessions. According to TotalBeauty.com blondes on average spend six more minutes getting ready than brunettes. Brunettes take 66 minutes to get ready daily, and blondes take 72 minutes. The study goes further to say brunettes are more likely to leave the house without makeup as opposed to the lighter-haired ladies.
I wonder how accurate this study is. There's an exception to every rule or in this case study. I will go on to say this: I'm a bottled honey blonde. When my girls and I are on our way to hit the town, sometime I take longer and sometime they (brunettes) will take longer. Generally, it depends on where we're going and what we individually decide to wear.
Here's your chance to sound off. Do you think blondes have longer primp sessions?

Hip-Hop pioneer Roxanne Shanté claimed she had received an undergraduate degree from Marymount Manhattan College and a Ph.D. in psychology from Cornell University. Reports published later claimed it was untrue. She has released a statement apologizing for the ordeal:
"I would like to thank my long time fans and supporters for your continued support. I am humbled and grateful to all of you for that. Without going into all of the details as of right now, I would like to apologize that this story regarding my post recording career has caused such a ruckus. The entire story will be revealed at a later time.
Throughout my career and life, I have been faced with many challenges, both professionally and personally. Like all of you, I am human, and may have not made the correct decision all the time. And, like anyone else, I would like to think that my entire life or career is not judged by one error or mistake.
It is very easy to criticize someone and I have left myself open to criticism. That is fair. There are plenty of people that will attest that I have done a lot for them. It seems though, that negativity gets more attention than positivity.
All I can say to that, is before you level any further criticism and cynicism, walk in my shoes. I am making this statement to apologize to the people that truly care about me for any angst that this situation has caused, and to thank them for their continued support. I am proud of what I have been able to do for so many others, and would like to let those persons know that I will continue to be there for them no matter what.
I am proud that during my twenty plus years as a pioneer in the Hip-Hop industry, to have opened doors for those who came after me, such as MC Lyte, Salt N Peppa, and Queen Latifah to name a few. I will have no further statement in regards to this matter at this time."
I'm sure she's had her reasons, but she's had such an accomplished hip-hop career, she didn't have to lie. I'm sure her fans will not hold this against her.

I'm a single chick in NYC and just when I think I like my potential boo to have a certain look, I flip the other side of the coin and then once again I'm confused. Some guys look great with short hair. Then there are others who can pull off long hair and still look gangsta. So I say just give me a man with hair like the guy in this photo and problem solved...I think?
