All black everything continued to be the theme last night as Jay-Z made his way back to New York City's Madison Square Garden for his BP3 tour. He brought out Memphis Bleek ( I was wondering where the heck he's been). Bleek was pretty much his hype man for the show.
It seems Chris Brown is the one who transformed in this video as opposed to him transforming someone...more tats, shirtless and throwing on the grown man suit. His upcoming album Graffiti is due out December 15. This video was directed by Joseph Kahn who worked with Chris on the "Forever" video.
Newcomer, Nicki Monaj whose R&B/Hip-Hop skills has her noted as being a lyrical assassin and one to watch. She's the leading lady of Lil Wayne’s record label Young Money Entertainment.
Fashionably speaking, Nicki is rocking the Authentic COOGI Sweater Dress. Something I haven't seen anyone rocking since the 90's.
Omarion is the newest member to sign to Lil Wayne's Young Money Label. According to S2Smagazine.com, Omarion comfirmed the deal via his Twitter blog.
"Thanks 4 all tha love yall! Young Money! Omarion,” the singer exclaimed Saturday. “You will believe and see God's power!! I'm so humble and I [can’t] wait 2 give y’all tha new me."
The former B2K frontman joins the newcomer Drake on the Young Money imprint.
Congrats to Omarion. I'll be looking forward to big things with these artists.
*Update* Omarion has since been dropped from the Young Money label.
New music from two ladies who are making their own rules when it comes to their style and sound. I'm definitely lovin' both tracks from Solange and Keri Hilson. Check out their respective videos below. Let me know what you think.
Keri Hilson has the follow up single "Turnin' Me On" ft. ubiquitous MC Lil Wayne to the infectious "Energy" that has been blazing the airwaves. "Turnin' Me On" should be released soon. Her debut album, In A Perfect World, drops November 4th.
