Chester French is featured in a spread in the Vogue January issue which is on newstands now. If you're not familiar with them, they are a duo that are on The Neptunes Star Trak label. I had blogged about them back in February. They had catchy track "She Loves Everybody" which got alot of spins on my iPod. This spread looks pretty cool. It's nice to see Vogue expanding a bit and allowing up and coming musicians to get a little shine.

This year was definitely the Year Of The Gentleman. Alot of artists decided to put away the casual gear for a more sexier and grown up look. Artists like Ne-Yo; Chris Brown and Jay-Z decided to pick up a (bow) tie and blazer a time or two. Fellas, here are a few pieces to achieve and preserve (in my P. Diddy voice) your sexy.
Kanye West has been receiving alot of honors lately. Rolling Stone Magazine has named him top male artist for 2009. Taylor Swift is named top female artist for 2009 from Rolling Stone as well.
Also, Kanye's got even more reason to shout (in a good way of course...sorry I can't resist). Entertainment Weekly, has named his 2004 debut album The College Dropout number one in their Top 10 Albums of The Decade category. Kanye took to his blog to comment on the honor:
It's unbeliveable that the holidays are here and 2009 will be a year of the past in a few weeks. There are still many of us who still don't have clue as to what to get the men in our lives. Here are a few ideas cool ideas he'll be sure to love:

Well look has made their way to the Home Shopping Network. Starting tonite at 11pm, Diddy will make an appearance on HSN. Diddy will be selling the Unforgivable and I Am King fragrances. Don't expected his appearance to be a buy my sh*t type of ranting. We all know when it comes to Diddy, there's no half-stepping on his ventures. He will be interviewed in a talk-show-like format on a specially built set.
On a side note: I purchased the Unforgivable Woman fragrance and it has been one of the best fragrances I've bought in a long time. It's such a light scent and it lasts ALL day. Nope, I didn't get paid to say this...LOL. It's just a little testimonial if you're interested.
There were alot of perfomances last night at the 2009 American Music Awards. While being entertained, you couldn't help but notice what the celebs were wearing. Two men that stuck out the most were Jay-Z and Adam Lambert. First off, Jay-Z. looked damned good in his "Rat Pack" inspired suit while performing "Empire State of Mind" with Alicia Keys. This is exactly what I mean by there's nothing like a man in a suit to make that can make a gal go crazy. LOL...He also took home the Favorite Male Artist award and Favorite Album award for The Blueprint 3. The performance was great as well. There were no uninvited guests to bumrush the stage.

I've become a fan of American Idol alum Adam Lambert. He had all kinds of kinky going in this performance. As you can see from the crotch grabbing pic there was alot more where that came from. It was definitely entertaining. His look was hot too. The hair, make-up, and spiky detailed jacket. It just fit.

I was watching The Wendy Williams Show today and I happen to catch the very sexy actor Morris Chestnut as her guest. He's such a talented actor as well. Unfortunately, he's taken ladies. He's been married for over a decade. We can still look and not touch though. He's in a new show on ABC called V which you can watch Tuesdays at 8/7c.
This is a great way to start off MenStyle Monday. Wale, Drake and Kid Cudi are featured in the GQ Magazine's Man of the Year issue. This issue hits newstands next month. These are three dope talents that should definitely get recognized.
