Today marks the one year anniversary of the passing of a music legend and King of Pop Michael Jackson. I'm sure you remember vividly where you were when you heard the news of his passing. Matter of fact, I was on the subway on my way home and was getting texts left and right. His legacy and music still lives on. In this video, Ne-Yo, Sean Kingston, Omarion and more remember the King of Pop.
While checking out one of my favorite blogs EgyptSaidSo, I found out Martin Lawrence and Will Smith will hit the big screen again for Bad Boys 3. Martin Lawrence spoke on the upcoming movie saying:
“Any time you can get Big Willie to come out and talk about doing a third installment of a hot movie like ‘Bad Boys,’ you have to take notice. I met with [director] Michael Bay, and he said he’s onboard too , so it’s real… We’re just waiting on Jerry Bruckheimer to let us know when it’s really real.”
When I hear of the designerBalmain my first thought is the late great Michael Jackson. His military inspiredjackets were a fashion force to be reckoned with. The Balmain Spring 2010 collection is still bringing greatness to it jackets like collections of yesteryear. Let's not sleep on the dresses and tops of the Spring 2010 collection either. Edgy, and uniquely sexy...oh so lady-like.

Ed Hardy Designer Christian Audigier had teamed up with the late great Michael Jackson to work on a clothing line. Audigier will continue to keep the dream alive. Michael Jackson performing at Motown 25 Special in 1983
Michael Jackson's iconic white glove which he wore at the 1983 Motown 25 Special will be auctioned at the Hard Rock Café in New York's Times Square.
Jackson wore many gloves over the years, but this glove in particular was a modified store-bought glove covered with rhinestones. It's estimated the glove is worth between $40,000-$60,000. The glove has been in the possession of Commodores member Walter "Clyde" Orange, who received it from Jackson the night he wore it.
Jackson and Orange had an ongoing joke over the years of how Jackson denied giving him his autograph because he felt he was more famous. At the Motown 25 Special, after Jackson's memorable performance at which he unveiled his Moonwalk, he gave Orange the trademark glove instead.
Brooklyn, New York based jewelry company Good Wood has created a limited-edition Michael Jackson with his signature poses. If you're not familiar with GoodWood, all of their accessories are made of wood. They design earrings, necklaces and if you're into the old school flava, two-finger rings. GoodWood also customizes pieces.
Ne-Yo was onstage during a concert in Manchester, UK and performed about an hour. After the Grammy-award winning singer-songwriter performed a rendition of Michael Jackson's "Off The Wall" when he bacame very emotional and began crying. He abruptly ended the show by telling the crowd he had to leave due to illness and he promised the crowd "I will be back".
It's pretty evident that Ne-Yo's "illness" was just his emotions getting the best of him and he was feeling the sorrow of Michael Jackson's death. Be strong Ne-Yo, I know you will be back.
