Last night was the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. Honestly, I only watched to see if the movie Precious would claim any wins and the red carpet fashions. Mo'Nique won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the movie Precious. Who knew "Nicki Parker" Mo'Nique's character on the television sitcom The Parkers would turn around and be an Oscar winning actress. Just goes to show you hard work does truly pay off. Congrats to her.

On the Grammy red-carpet she wore this white high-neck couture gown. She was also name best dressed at the ceremony. She, Jay-Z and Kanye West (who was M.I.A. for the event- apart of me kinda wished for his foolery at the event...:-P) won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Run This Town"
