Happy 2011! I celebrated my New Year's Eve partying in the city. I had posted here a few dresses I was going to choose from. Well, I decided to go with a LBD. A practical and simple choice since I wore these spiked shoes and wanted them to be the focal point. I was able to get away with them for about 3 hours when I had to change in to my sasquash snowboats I wore here.
I've narrowed down the dress I want to rock on New Year's Eve. The shoes are definitely an intricate part of the oufit too. The wrong shoe can make the entire look blah. Here are a few choices that will have you styling through the night. Aren't the red glittery (The Wizard Of Oz) style shoes so fun?!
A while ago I was lusting (and I'm sure you were too) over the Gianmarco LorenziSwarovski pumps. Definitely some hot shit to look at, but all I could get for the pricing was upon request. If I gotta ask, I can't afford it. Of course, a more affordable designer came to our rescue.
These glittery 5 inch heels are Enzo Angiolini "Smiles" platform pump. Definitely a good find in time for the holiday parties you can wear these too. On a side note, they're just so fab, I would even pair these during the day with skinny jeans and a blazer.
I'm a big time shoe fiend. Just so you know how bad it is check here. It's ironic because several years back, I was always into the handbags. I would literally foam at the mouth if I saw a fly bag (okay not really but you get the idea). Being that the weather in New York today will hit the mid-70s, it's only right to give the platform sandals another day of play. I spotted these fab Chloe two-tone wedges that retail for $1095. While the price is unjustifiable, it would be perfect to wear with a bare leg or black tights. I'll check to see if I can find an equally goregouse look for less and post later. Don't you just love these though?
Forget the glass slipper affect. These shoes spotted during this past New York Fashion Week 2011 would make you wanna skip a few bill payments to get these in your closet. There were so many beautiful styles from designers Rodarte, Ruthie Davis, Betsey Johnson and L.A.M.B. just to name a few.

Get your shoe game tight. Leopard is the hottest print of the season. This Guiseppe Zanotti Flower Sandal design is so sleek and very sexy. The touch of the leopard print flower, you'll stand out. This shoe will look great paired with a little black dress or a hot red dress.
I had a conversation with a friend the other day and we talked about women's obsession for shoes. She asked that if shoes shopping could ever be as good or better than sex. Shopping or Sex? Hmmm....It depends on what time of the month you ask and if there's a hot shoe sale....LOL.
In any case, these shoes designed by Nicholas Kirkwood for Liberty Bounty heels are sure to give you a shoe-gasm. I love Kirkwood's trademark heels with anchor sole paired with all these colors. These shoes are an investment of....dun, dun, dun $850.
These shoes won't break your pockets, but they will break necks. How can you not do a double take at these sandals by Guess. The beige is cute for spring and the snakeskin just gives it an extra #POW! They'll only cost you $99 and are available at Zappos.com
