Wearing: New York & Co. Blazer, H&M Dress, Lucite & Gold Necklace, Asos Satchel, Gap Flats
This dress have become one of my favorites. I've worn it here and here. Yesterday was the first day of classes. I was on my way to class, when suddenly the strap on my sandal broke. Luckily, it happened as I was walked pass the Gap. I rushed in looking for a pair of flats. I was pretty desperate so I couldn't be too choosy, but I wanted to find something that would match nicely with what I was wearing. I went home with these flats and not only did it match perfectly, it was on sale too.

When I worked at a media firm, I loved the flexibility I had with my wardrobe. I was able to mix and match trendy pieces, but also tailor the look a bit as I did here with the Alexander Wang cut-out blazer. This look I styled came from that inspiration. I kept it simple with a black and white palette. Layering simple accessories adds a touch of personality. The trendy Yves Saint Laurent Baobab Python wedge sandals ties the entire look together. This look is great for the end of summer style as the weather is a bit cooler.
FYI: T by Alexander Wang tee shirts are so lush. It's worth the investment. What do you think of this look?

Contrary to what we may have heard in the past, you can wear florals and stripes together. The key to pulling off this look is to match the main colors in one piece with the other. I haven't worn this trend yet, however, while attending an afterwork event, I wore florals with snakeskin.

T.G.I.F.! This has been a rough week and I'm looking forward to going to a BBQ, relaxing and just catching up with friends I rarely see since I've been ridiculously busy. Usually when I hit the town, my go to look is a dress or a skirt and top. I've hardly worn shorts to an evening event. It can be dressed up or down (depending on the event) . Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2010
An unlikely combination of prints, but somehow works. The various styles of leopard shoes (slingbacks, peeptoe, peeptoe platforms and wedges) are side-by-side with the polka dot pieces that compliment it perfectly. Will you be trying out this trend?
