Is it just me or did the summer go by really quickly?! I've walked pass many store windows only to find clothing geared up for fall. Now is a great time to get a lot of your fall essentials. You can get many designer pieces for 20% off or better. I compiled this list of fun, designer duds you can get and not break the bank. As an added bonus, you can wear a few of these pieces now into fall.
Designer Stevie BOI is noted with designing ridiculously fly eyewear and clothing. His designs have been seen on celebs such as Rihanna and Lady Gaga just to name a few. This is a behind the scenes photo with Amber Rose while fliming for an upcoming MTV series.
Saturday was a crazy day. In a good way of course. Rebecca Minkoff made an appearance at Bloomingdales 59th Street in New York. She was really sweet interacting with customers and reccommending bags that would suit a fashionistaz style. Celebrity stylist Mia Morgan and the editors over at www.FashionIndie.com were also on hand to give tips on bags and style.
For an early birthday gift to myself, I picked up the Alligator Bond bag. It can be used as a clutch and a wallet. Thanks to Amanda with helping me with choosing this bag ;-)
Artist Logan Real monogrammed the bags. It gave the bags such a one of a kind feel.

This is the behind the scenes video of his holiday ad campaign featuring models Carmen Kass and Noah Mills. The collection has alot of cozy knits in gray and camel colors, sequins and fur. Kors was one of my first designer handbag purchases. Since then, I've purchased another bag which I've worn here and here and I pretty much carry it daily. I will invest in one of these cozy knits though. When the temps dip low, it'll sure come in handy. Even in the freeze your a$$ off weather, you should always look fly.
Here are a few more pieces from the collection:
Are you ready to shop the Michael Kors holiday collection?
The holidays are creeping up on us. So you know what that means, lots of parties to attend. If you're like me, you have ideas in your head about what you're gonna wear but have yet to put a plan into action on getting one. My birthday is coming up and I have yet to find a dress. I happen to come across these dresses from designer Ronny Kobo Torn collection. This collection has mini dresses in metallic gold, leopard, geometric prints. There's even a purple knotted front dress that's semi-sheer too.
Forget the glass slipper affect. These shoes spotted during this past New York Fashion Week 2011 would make you wanna skip a few bill payments to get these in your closet. There were so many beautiful styles from designers Rodarte, Ruthie Davis, Betsey Johnson and L.A.M.B. just to name a few.
Check out the ultimate ShoeGasm gallery after the jump.
Yesterday, a friend asked if I'd heard of Simon Spurrmenswear. My answer was no. He schooled me a bit on it and told me to check it out. I came across the Spring 2011 collection and I love it! It's so fresh and well put together. The fit of the suits are perfect. Its not too slim cut where it looks like you're wearing jeggings, and your younger brother's jacket, but not too baggy either. However, if you're into the jeggings look, there are some casual looks with those pants. Overall, I think most men can appreciate this collection.
It's official Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week is a wrap.
One thing I love to see on the runways is how designers are so innovative with the most mundane things. It's kinda like, why didn't I think of that phrase goes through my head. In this case, designer Jeremy Scott took the infamous I Love New York plastic bag and made it into a tank for the models to wear.
*Update*
I came across more plastic bag t-shirts via his New York Fashion Week Show. Check out more. Is this dude really serious?
