I came across this photoshoot featuring model Gwen Lu over at the Asian Models Blog. The combination of the body amour and platform shoe (if you blinked you may have missed it) are just so visually appealing. Gwen looks androgynous, yet there's a feminine quality about her. This is the best high-fashion editorial I've seen in awhile.

In an industry where smaller sized models at the forefront of magazines, television and runways, ths issue of V magazine will make you think does the size of the model really matter. The January issue is featuring beautiful models Candice Huffine, Marquita Pring, Michelle Olson, Tara Lynn, and Kasia P who are blessed with curves and baring skin. Women are the biggest consumers when it comes to fashion and we're not all the same sizes or look the same. We should have more variety when it comes to how the models look in a high-fashion capacity. This is a more realistic concept for getting women to be more conscious with trends in fashion. Women with curves can and should always feel stunning.
Amber Rose is featured in a spread in the Vibe magazine re-launch issue which is on newstands now. These photos look very high-fashion and one shot looks Karl Lagerfeld inspired. She's the only woman I've seen in a long time that can pull off a buzzed blonde cut and look feminine and stunning.

Grace Jones is a style icon. You can see remnants of her style captured by today's star's such as Beyonce, Lady Gaga and Rihanna. In the latest issue of Vogue Paris, model Rose Cordero transforms into the a younger version Ms. Jones portraying grace and a take no prisoners attitude. This layout was shot by photographer Paolo Kudacki and style by Melanie Huynh.
This portrayal of Ms. Jones by Rose is excellent. At first glance, I thought it was a younger version of Ms. Jones. The stylist was definitely on her "A" game.

Wow! Talk about architectural style. Designer Philippe Tournaire took inspiration for these designs from various countries and cities around the globe. Tournaire fulfills every fashionistaz fantasties with these rings- Having a villa and a huge ring to rock...Well kinda anyway.
