The holidays are creeping up on us. So you know what that means, lots of parties to attend. If you're like me, you have ideas in your head about what you're gonna wear but have yet to put a plan into action on getting one. My birthday is coming up and I have yet to find a dress. I happen to come across these dresses from designer Ronny Kobo Torn collection. This collection has mini dresses in metallic gold, leopard, geometric prints. There's even a purple knotted front dress that's semi-sheer too.
Bella Pleated Dress $385
Tara Cheetah Dress $308
Corey Cut-Out Dress $210
Roberta Purple Storm Dress $308 $154

I'm a big time shoe fiend. Just so you know how bad it is check here. It's ironic because several years back, I was always into the handbags. I would literally foam at the mouth if I saw a fly bag (okay not really but you get the idea). Being that the weather in New York today will hit the mid-70s, it's only right to give the platform sandals another day of play. I spotted these fab Chloe two-tone wedges that retail for $1095. While the price is unjustifiable, it would be perfect to wear with a bare leg or black tights. I'll check to see if I can find an equally goregouse look for less and post later. Don't you just love these though?

wearing: mossimo dress, new york & co. cropped jacket, nine west cork platforms, forever 21 necklace, michael kors sunnies and tote
I've come to terms that I have a slight procrastinator gene. I was in hibernation all day Saturday working on a presentation for today. Mind you, I knew about this weeks prior. What can I say. I'm sure you've been in the same boat. While I was in sweats and hair tied all day Saturday, I was making it a point to enjoy Sunday. My Sunday's are usually spent like this here, but that wasn't happening. The weather was gore! I didn't expect it to be that warm. A new thrift store opened near my neighborhood so I made my way over there to see what fun and quirky things I could find. Of course, I was glad that I was able to get my ice caramel latte along the way.

When all else fails, you can never go wrong wearing a LBD. Eva Longoria-Parker appeared on Jay Leno last week rocking a one shoulder Karen Millen design. If you've never been to the Karen Millen boutique, you have to make your way there. I attended the shop at the Soho location for the first time during Fashion's Night Out 2010. You can see all the festivities here. Their dresses, shoes and handbags are so lush.
This is the dress Eva wore on the show. You can get it here.
This is the dress and I "modeled" at the Fashion's Night Out event. You can get it here.

I've worn my hair all crazy styles over the years. The longest hairdo I had was for 10 years. It was a cropped cut that I wore blonde. I was tired of it. I was stuck in a style rut and decided to grow out the platimum blonde back to my natural brunette and then got a relaxer. For the past six months I've worn the relaxer. I got the honey blonde highlights added last weekend. You know how some things just feel like a second skin? I feel like myself again with this color.

I've been lusting for a pair of studded leopard shoes (that are within my budget). Pretty much, lately, I want alot of leopard and studs in my wardrobe. These are my favorite studded purses here and here . As I'm typing this post I'm wearing an off the shoulder 3/4 sleeve leopard print tunic (I'll post pics later). While I'm on the hunt, I will just drool aimlessly at these loafers.
It's never too early to get a jump start on holiday shopping. I'm loving the color scheme of these pieces because one or more can be worn together or separately with other styles in your wardrobe. Plus, we ladies, can borrow the scarf, watch or shades.

This past weekend was suppose to be a bit low-key- just getting my hair done, some magazine reading and Sex and the City DVD watching. A friend called me up wanting to hang. When that happens, I better have my coins ready cause we always end up shopping. I love when I spot great deals and fab finds. So this is what I scooped up.

Pearl and chain brooch

Stacks of animal print and shiny bracelets

Burnt orange crossed body Jessica Simpson bag

gladiator style sandals- the tassles are what caught my eye!
The military look is hot for yet another season. Last season there were alot of black and navy jacket styles like these here. Now it's all about going green. Everything from coats, shoes and bags are getting revamped in the army green color. When I was in elementary school I had an army green skirt and I never wore it much. It didn't seem that flattering. Too bad I don't have it now (not like it would fit anyway). I'll branch out and give it a shot this time around.
Olive Suede Lace-Up Bootie $450
Velvet Detail Military Coat $168.50
Nail Polish In Blue/Green Shimmer $16
