There are times when we rarely take advantage of the sights in the city. We're always in a rush and the hustle and bustle really doesn't allow us to enjoy such moments. Now until January, Bryant Park has these wonderful shops with vendors selling everything from kettle corn popcorn, paintings, photography and jewelry. I was passing by and decided to stop in the David Julia jewelry shop. The outside was pretty showcasing necklaces and earth-toned colored pillows. When I walked in my eyes widened with excitement with all the jewelry, intricately designed scarfs and pieces for your home. It was too good, I couldn't help not sharing with you. Not to mention, they were having a great sale. There were earrings that were 70% off. I love a sale. I mean who doesn't.

Usually when I purchase a coat, my first thought is to pick up basic black. It matches with everything and I don't have to worry about will it clash if I wear a brighter colored bag or shoes. I purchased this coat last year on sale. I've worn it with pretty much every color under the sun. Like the times I've worn it here and here. It's just something about wearing this coat that just brightens up my look and my mood.

I'm always curious to know what women carry in their bags. It seems the larger the bag the more stuff we seem to cram into it. This Michael Kors bag happens to be one of my faves. I carry it almost everyday. I've worn it here, here and here. My bag is usually messier than this with old receipts and anything else that pretty much gets thrown in it on any given day. I cleaned it out and figured I'd take a picture of the final result:
-Michael Kors sunnies: He's on of my fave designers. I brought these about 3 years ago and it hasn't left my side since.
-iPod: When I'm out and about I have to have my music! Even when working at home music is in the background or I'm just no good to anyone.
-Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy perfume: It's such a light and airy scent. It's one of the very few perfumes that I own that I wear in the summer and winter.

I've fallen in love with pink all over again. When I was younger I was so into it, it was almost sickening. Then as I got older, I thought it was a bit childish. These pink pieces here inspired me to get with the oh so girly color again. I was in need of some knit sweaters so I opted for the cozy knit style in pink. It works well with skinny jeans and knee-high boots or leggings and flats on a day where the weather wants to tease us. I hardly ever get a chance to stroll around the city. It was the perfect back drop to take pics while wearing my new (old) find.

I just recently celebrated my birthday. I had a big remininsce fest with some friends on how the R&B and Hip-Hop of the 90s was just so damn good. I remember buying cassette tapes and listening to sides A & B all the way through. Rarely was there a song that I didn't like. Then, the entertainment magazines Word Up!, Yo! Rap Masters I would get all of my entertainment gossip and fashion inspiration from them. I'm always inspired by the old school fashions. You can see it by what I wore here. Before I decided to persue a career in fashion, I aspired to become an artists' manager or a music producer.

Ever see a woman wearing a necklace and you just can't help but stare at it? I recently saw a woman with such an intricately designed necklace I stared at it for so long she probably thought I was crazy. Until I finally approached her and asked where she purchased it. To my surprise, she had a friend that designed the onyx, metal and chain necklace for her. It made me think about how much I really need a statement necklace to my collection. It will jazz up a jeans and t-shirt look. When paired with a simple dress, it will look ultra glam.

Here on the east coast, the weather has been crazy. One minute we're bundle up. The next we're wearing light-weight jackets, blazers and sweaters. Men's fashion has taken note to that. You can never go wrong with a cardigan sweater or leather jackets on chilly days. There's nothing more sexier than a man in a suit.

I used to think that once the colder months hit that it was a fashion don't to wear pink. All of my pink pieces went to the back of my closet. I'm not sure where I got this theory from, but I'm completely over it now. Pink is so girly and when paired with certain pieces can look very sexy as in the studded ankle boots. Will you be rocking pink this fall?
