2010 has been nothing short of incredible. I've met some wonderful people and got a chance to experience things I'd never imagined. This was the year I decided to personalize my blog and not just cover all the "it" fashion and foolery of celebs that kept us very entertained. I've narrowed down the dress I want to rock on New Year's Eve. The shoes are definitely an intricate part of the oufit too. The wrong shoe can make the entire look blah. Just a week ago on the East coast, the weather was so nice I was able to get away with wearing this sweater capelet by itself. Fast forward and it was blizzard like conditions. I felt like a kid in the candy store. I had to run outside and get down with all the snow and boy was it coming down and blowing so hard I could barely see in front of me. Of course, going outside to frolick in the snow wasn't my only mission. Since it was the day after Christmas, I wanted to take advantage of the sales and picked up some great home decor pieces.

I've really been in the Christmas spirit this season. It has come pretty quickly. I'm still wondering where 2010 went. I spent my Christmas Eve at the mall looking for the perfect New Year's Eve outfit for my friend. The entire look came together in a matter of minutes. She loved it! I can't say it enough, this time of the year I absolutely love the most. Seems like the most mundane things like sipping hot chocolate by the tree or scoring a cozy designer sweater on a riduculous sale makes me more happy that usual. Just taking in the sights of the city- all the bright lights are just a really fun way to end a hectic day. I'm definitely in the Christmas spirit. What makes you happy during the holidays?
I love red. Whether its a dress, a skirt or a cute top, the color stands out and exudes sex appeal. One thing about red, there are so many variations of it there's bound to be a hue that will compliment your skin tone. Being that Christmas is right around the corner, I plan on wearing red lips. This color that I wore here is currently what I'm in love with. I haven't worn nail prints since Lee press on nails back in the 80s. These holiday nail prints are a fun alternative when you don't have time to let your nails dry.

This weekend I intended on going shopping for a new coat. Instead, I came out with this sweater capelet too. I got it on a ridiculous sale, I would've kicked myself if I didn't get it. At least I did go for my intended purchase as well. Its so cozy and warm I couldnt wait to wear it. The weather held up that I was able to get away with it alone while running a few errands.
A new Urban Outfitters store opened in the city. I've always loved the quirkiness of the fashions, home decor and everything else in between. I haven't headed over to the store yet, but I browsed the site to see whats new. I came a across a few trinkets or what I like to call shits and giggles items. These would make great stocking stuffers.
