{Red strappy booties. I like the similar pair here too}
Red is one color that can flatter any woman (besides black but that can be overrated at times). There are so many hues that we're bound to find one that compliments our skintone. Plus when red is added to the mix in this case the red booties, it just makes it look that much sexier. Here are a few items in red that are catching my eye.

{Wide Leg pants}

Safari pieces are the only pieces I rarely own. I have nothing against it, but it’s hardly something I think of when I shop. I wanna expand more and thinking about adding at least a skirt to the mix to pair with strappy sandals and feather earrings. The Arden B one shoulder top is a perfect way to add a little sexy to the mix too.

H&M Blazer, Handmade Gifted Necklace, Thrifted Dress, Juicy Couture Earrings, Forever21 Leatherette Peep-toe Heels
I've never really been a traditional suit gal. I have blazers and dress pants (as seen here), but hardly wear them together. I thought I was all done with the darker colors and heavier jackets. Last week's teaser 75 degree weather made it all temping to wear all brights. I'm not gonna get too thirsty. When all else fails I pull out a little black dress, but wanted to add a pop of color and this blazer did the trick. Depending on the light, the blazer looks burgundy or fuchsia.

The tragedy in Japan has been heartwrenching. There are many ways designers are helping and showing support. We can too.
The Tory Burch We ♥ Japan t-shirt was designed to benefit the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief efforts. 100% of the net proceeds of every Japan Relief T-shirt sold now through September 15, 2011, will go to the American Red Cross. Available for pre-order at ToryBurch.com

Mulberry Oak Oversized Alexa Bag $1,250
Asos Faux Croc Day Bag $62.76 $50.20 (limited time on sale)
The most I've ever spent on a designer handbag was $400. So when I see prices in the thousands, I can never really justify it. I'm a big fan of Asos. They always seem to have items that are good quality and have similar looks as the designer bags at affordable prices. I'd use this faux croc bag during the day and even as a weekender.

I was in Sephora yesterday and for the first time I wasn't checking for any makeup. As the weather gets warmer, I change the scents that I wear. I was looking for something a bit lighter and airy. While I picked up a larger bottle of Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy perfume, here are a few others that remain on the top of my list.
What's your favorite perfume?

Lately, I've been getting more and more into rocking denim. I was the girl who thought 3 pairs of were suffice. Indigo blue, light blue and black were all I needed to get by for the year. NO sarcasm here. I'm really serious. As usual, I was on the hunt to find the perfect pair (s). The only way I was going to restock my closet was if I found something that was practical but also had a flair to it. I could wear it with a blazer and flats while running errands or rock it while on a night out on the town. I came across the UK based brand AllSaints. Since a skinny style was more what I was after, it was a match made in womens jeans heaven. Besides the colors I metioned above, they had some funky style distressed boyfriend jeans and the Embellished Lowe shorts are hot for summer nights. The slim fit western inspired Boxgrove shirt would just look that much more hotter paired with a jeweled necklace.
Also, please be sure to follow them on Twitter. You can get all the updates on the AllSaints SS 2011 Lookbook, fab pieces for you to get your hands on and what they're jamming to in the UK.

These very 70s inspired Michael Kors python platforms
I was in Bloomingdales the other day browsing around. Unfortunately, I walked out empty handed. So I did what I do best, I turned to online browsing. As usual I browsed my fave sites which are within my budget. This go round I veered out a little and searched for splurge-worthy pieces. I feel its nice to have one piece that you spent some serious money on that grabs attention and can be worn for years.
When was the last time you splurged?
Alexander Wang has become one of my favorite designers. This pebbled leather bag in the prettiest pink brings out the sweet and vicious in any girl.
Spiked bracelets that will look so fly with jeans and a t-shirt or give a LBD a bit of an edge.
A soft and silky Elizabeth and James blouse I'd pair with jeans and flats on Friday's.
