I haven't been on a vacation in about a year.  These images from around the world is making me thinking I need to start planning something real soon.  Can't be all work and no play...

Addiction

Apr28

Forever21 Earrings, New York & Co. Skirt, Michael Kors Studded Leopard Belt, MIA Leopard Flats, PnkAccessories Cuff

Have you ever searched for an item and finally find, but something still doesn't seem quite right?  Well that was my issue with finding a skinny leopard belt.  I came across plenty styles but it just didn't satisfy.  I found the studded leopard belt and instantly fell in love with its flashiness.  I decided to pair it with  basic black and white.  I was all about comfort yesterday when running around so the leopard flats came in handy.  With all this, I realized I have a leopard addiction.  With the belt being my latest addition to this cape I wore here, earrings, rings, and bracelets.

Color Block Wedges

Apr26

Yesterday was gorgeous!   I wore this bohemian style dress.  Ordinarily, I wait until the temps are consistent to rock sandals, but I couldn't resist wearing these wedges.  I'm all about the color blocking in clothes.  Why not let your shoes get a piece of the action?  There's nothing like having a simple outfit and shoes that speak for itself.  The natural and orange wedges from Topshop is my fave.

The details clockwise:

 ASOS Dune Nasa Color-Block Wedge - $152.41

Aldo Iveans - $90

ASOS PANDORA Color-Block Platform Wedge - $89.65

Pierre Hardy Striped Wedge - $885

Sam Edelman Westbrook Wedge - $209

Pierre Hardy Color-block canvas and patent-leather wedge sandals - $630

Baubles

When flipping through magazines I came across the Proenza Schouler tribal inspired necklaces, my eyes got so big I bugged out.  While I didn't find a looks for less option while out shopping.  I did find various pieces of jewelry that was just as suffice. The metal, colorful jewels, and earth tones. Love.

Here's what I found over the weekend:

Run-D.M.C.

Apr22

This week has been a pretty inspiring.  As I featured here and here.  To end the week on a positive note, I wanted to feature some items that were inspired by Run-D.M.C.  They are legends in Hip-Hop music and their style has been pretty evident in the past and the present.  This shirt I wore here was my paying homage to them.    Here are a few items that you fellas ( and ladies too.  I'd definitely rock the watch and hoodie) can get your hands on  that says I love Hip-Hop.

With all the hustle and bustle in our daily routines, sometime its hard to stop and think about the little things.  The things that make us happy, keep us inspired and looking forward each day to achieving that goal...

McQueen Inspired

 Alexander McQueen Brittania Skull Clutch

Alexander McQueen clutch bags are pretty distinct.  With its skull closure and occassional cut-outs to fit you pretty little knucles in.  The boxy shape gives it its viciousness.  Unfortunately, if you're like me, its not in your budget to add to your collection of arm candy.   They range in the thousands.  I was delighted and surprised to see House of Harlow 1960 version.  It gives a similar McQueen style without even paying close to the originals

Day and Night

Apr18

I've always been a big earring girl.  While certain occassions call for more demure earrings like pearls or diamond studs, my M.O. is the bigger the better.  My latest purchases were these drop feather earrings (the peach you can get here).  They're so lightweight.  I love the colors and how each has its own personality.  One with metal studs and the other with layered chains.  The peach earrings are paired with lighter makeup and lipgloss for a daytime casual but still fun look.  When I hit the town at night, the burgundy feathers and lipstick makes the overall look sexy and vicious.
