Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty exhibit at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Being that I was attending the exhibit in its last weekend (and last day), I had heard many stories of 3-4 hour waiting periods to see it. The risk-taker that I can be, I decided to take my chances. I was truly unprepared. I waited on line for 3 hours just to get into the museum. In this photo, I was at the top of the stairs about to go inside. I had never been so happy to see stairs in my life. Once inside, I waited two hours on another line before I made it into the exhibit. It was worth the 5 hour wait. It was truly amazing! I was in awe of just the thought process, risks and overall creativity McQueen shared with world.
