This year the shaved side was the new black. The look started out innovative but turned into a repetitive yawn fest with so many celebs doing it. While some side-swiped their hair for charity- La La Vasquez, others...I guess just wanted to jump on the bandwagon.
It's crazy once you become a celebrity how photos or videos( ehem...sex tapes) from your past seem to surface. Well in this case, it's nothing to be ashamed of. This pic of Lady Gaga's First Communion surfaced in InTouch Weekly magazine. Doesn't she looks so innocent and cute? Hard to imagine she would become a pantless, talented superstar.
Talent...Good Looks...Humble...and a Ridiculous Swag. It's very rare to come across an artist with such characteristics. However, Trey Songz fits. He covers the latest issue of Honey Magazine. In the interview Trey spoke about why women love him, keeping a bit of mystique in his life, his fans on Twitter and comparisons to R. Kelly.
New Years Eve is just right around the corner. I still can't believe another year is almost over. This is the time we ladies are hustling and bustling through boutiques and department stores looking for the percect dress and bad ass shoes. Not to mention the accessories and the oh so fly bag. Mariah Carey and the self proclaimed "Barbie" Nicki Minaj team up to become "Barbie" dolls in Mariah's upcoming video. They're posing in plastic packaging for the remix to the song “Up Out My Face" which will be on Mariah's Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel remix album. The clip was directed by Mariah's hubby Nick Cannon. See, people were sleeping on Nick, but he's been getting his hands in alot of ventures lately. Good for him. This video looks like it's really cute and is gonna be very entertaining to watch.

Chester French is featured in a spread in the Vogue January issue which is on newstands now. If you're not familiar with them, they are a duo that are on The Neptunes Star Trak label. I had blogged about them back in February. They had catchy track "She Loves Everybody" which got alot of spins on my iPod. This spread looks pretty cool. It's nice to see Vogue expanding a bit and allowing up and coming musicians to get a little shine.

While we're still on the subject of men looking sexy in suits, this Jay-Z video definitely sets the tone. There's nothing better than to see a man groomed to a "T' and rocking the sh*t out of a tailored suit.
This year was definitely the Year Of The Gentleman. Alot of artists decided to put away the casual gear for a more sexier and grown up look. Artists like Ne-Yo; Chris Brown and Jay-Z decided to pick up a (bow) tie and blazer a time or two. Fellas, here are a few pieces to achieve and preserve (in my P. Diddy voice) your sexy.
How did this advertisement go under the radar? Check out a few of Chanel Iman's favorite things for this H&M December 2009 campaign. Gold bangles, pearls, tiara and velvet gloves and bowtie...Chanel always has such great energy in photoshoots.
Sidenote: I'm a pure H&M addict. Even if I don't purchase clothes, I ALWAYS pick up accessories so this advertisement is something serious for me.
