This past weekend I was out during our heat wave in NYC (it was in the high 50s near 60 degrees) and I came across similar looks for men. They put away their puffer coats and wore peacoats. I love the idea of dressing the coat down with a cardigan, jeans, construction boots or sneakers. Here are few affordable options.

I've done several blog posts on two thirds of the Kardashian sisters. I style stalked Kourtney and Kim has had plenty good days on the best dressed list. While I love to help people look great by giving them style tips/advice, I love to help people in other aspects of life. I've seen the footage of communities left devastated due to hurricane Sandy. It's so disheartening. I live in New York and didn't experience terrible damage by Sandy, but so many were and need all the help possible. I wanted to help and made a donation to the Red Cross. You can do the same here. My thoughts and prayers are with all those who have been affected.
This style dilemma is from a reader requesting more info on Gwen Stefani's style. I've always been a fan of Gwen Stefani's style. She rocks her outfits to a T as well as been a walking advertisement for her L.A.M.B clothing line. She's been seen out and about rocking this wool coat (pictured above) from her line. It looks really warm and cozy. While her coat is in the $500 range, I found a wool coat with a similar look for a bit less.

Celebs are more like us than we think. Have you had a favorite item that you wore all the time? Lately, Jennifer Lopez has been a repeat (fashion) offender. I've never seen her wear the same thing twice. While she's still killing the style game, (I'd love to raid her closet), these sick pumps have been a staple in her wardrobe. She's giving a lace sweetheart dress an edge and a sexy, red body-hugging dress look more sultry wearing them.
